My Business Partner has two managing partners with many years of Call Center operations and consulting experience. Our staff consists of independent consultants dedicated to providing strong, easily-implementable solutions to our diverse client base.

Kathy Soeder, Managing Partner
Kathy began her Call Center career in 1989 with Ameritech. In her 11 years with Ameritech/SBC, she managed various Call Center operations, including customer service, sales, collections, billing, customer retention, help desk and dispatch.  She spent several years while at Ameritech involved in the development of various technological tools that improved representative sales and service efforts.  In 1992, she led the team responsible for building a Call Center from the ground up to serve Ameritech New Media, the first national competitive cable overbuilder.  Her team developed the business plan and implemented all processes, systems and outsourcing relationships that led to New Media’s Call Center winning the J.D. Power award in their first year of eligibility.  Prior to starting her own firm she also built a Call Center and technical support operation for a small start-up, business-to-business high-speed Internet provider.  Kathy earned an undergraduate degree in Marketing and a concentration in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a M.B.A. from DePaul University. Today she focuses exclusively on My Business Partner’s clients and its operations.
Bonnie McElroy, Managing Partner
Bonnie began her Call Center career in 1966 with AT&T.  In her 30+ years with Ameritech/SBC/AT&T, she managed a wide variety of Call Center operations, including telemarketing, customer service, and billing and collections. Prior to retiring from Ameritech in 1999, Bonnie served as Director of Sales Operations for a five-state region. In this role, she led a team responsible for the introduction of new technologies, re-engineering of sales and sales support operations, customer relationship building, and employee motivation and training. Prior to starting her own firm, she worked as an independent consultant for other leading companies focused on improving Call Center performance.

Bonnie is an active member of the community. She currently serves as Area Director for Zonta International, a worldwide service organization that works to advance the status of women. She is also a member of the following organizations:

  • Silver Cross Hospital Board of Community Trustees
  • Zonta Club of the Joliet Area,  Past President 
  • Three Rivers Association of Realtors, Past Director
  • International Customer Management Institute

Bonnie is a licensed Realtor in the State of Illinois and holds a Certificate in Business Process Reengineering from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois, 1996. As a founding partner of My Business Partner, she now focuses exclusively on MBP’s operation and the success of its clients.
